BASELAB started with a simple question: why is it so hard to find a tee that feels substantial, stays cool, has a good shape and still costs a fair price?

The fit comes first

Every BASELAB piece is built on the same boxy block: dropped shoulders, a wide body, a hem at the hip and sleeves that reach the elbow. The block stays the same season after season, so once you know your size you know it for good. Babytees and long sleeves are cut separately for a closer fit or a warmer layer.

Fabric

Short-sleeve tees use 100% cotton ("Prime Cotton 100% Fabric" on the label). Long sleeves and some Autumn/Winter styles use slub cotton, with a natural textured surface and more weight.

Prints

Prints follow the seasons: Summer Club brings palm trees, cherries and Palm Island; Autumn/Winter brings classic lettering, stars and reworked flags. Each run is printed in modest quantities and replaced by new designs when it sells through.
